Christmas in Mistletoe Falls Cast and Information
CONCEPT
This is a parody of Hallmark Christmas movies, with a “hard-working career gal in the big city” who goes back to her hometown of Mistletoe Falls and meets a handsome shopkeeper. Together with the rest of the townsfolk, they have to save Christmas.
But something goes wrong. All of the tropes of cheesy Christmas TV movies like this start to break down and all hell breaks loose.
There will be three shows of this production – Friday, December 15 at 7pm; Saturday, December 16 at 3pm; and Sunday, December 17 at 7pm. Pay and profit-sharing is in place for this show (see below).
Please read the important information, character breakdown, song list, and rehearsal schedule below. If you are interested in being in the show, please fill out the form.
IMPORTANT!
- Everyone must be present for every rehearsal during show week (generally starting the Saturday or Sunday before the show) and must limit absences for rehearsals before that. I understand that this is a big ask for people with jobs, school, and other commitments, but we already have limited time to put these shows together so we have to maximize what we do have.
- Everyone must be on time for every rehearsal. Being late is not only detrimental to the show, it’s inconsiderate of your fellow cast members and crew who did what they needed to do to be on time.
- Everyone must come prepared. The small amount of time we have to rehearse together must be supplemented by your own work on your own time working on your lines, lyrics, songs, and characters.
- Everyone must pitch in to promote the show. All cast members on paid shows participate in profits, which means the more butts in seats, the more you get paid. A social media and promotional calendar will be developed for every show moving forward with specific assignments on specific days and platforms.
