Young Frankenstein Crew/Volunteer

IT’S A “MONSTER” SHOW AND WE NEED A “MONSTER” CREW!

In April, the Savannah Cabaret will be launching its most ambitious production yet, “Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein,” the West End musical adaptation of the classic movie.

We will be opening for casting in late February, but before we get there we need to put the technical team together and it’s going to be a big one!

Most crew positions will be paid and some will be eligible for show bonuses and a share of any profits from ticket sales (details on how that works below).   Other positions are volunteers.

This will be a demanding show requiring a lot of time, energy, and talent so we hope you’re up for the challenge!

Read more about the crew positions below, then fill out the interest form.  Thank you!

By the way… most of these crew positions will preclude you from being cast in the show unless noted.

      SHOW BONUS STRUCTURE

Any paid crew member who works more than 40 hours over the duration of rehearsals and shows is eligible for being included in the show bonus pool.

IF the show makes a profit, all net profits from tickets sales only will be divided equally amongst the participants in the pool (estimated to be 20 people).

      For illustrative purposes only:

      • Gross Profits: $42,000
      • Expenses: $34,000
      • Net Profits: $8,000
      • 50% of Net: $4,000
      • 50% of Net Divided by 20 participants: $200 each

Total compensation is therefore dependent on ticket sales, but paid crew members will receive their base pay even if the show loses money.
