Christmas in Mistletoe Falls 4 Cast & Crew

WELCOME AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST!

Who’s ready to go back to Mistletoe Falls?

Our annual Christmas show is coming back in an all-new adventure with a romantic twist.  Six couples will have a classic rom-com “Meet Cute,” fall in love almost instantly, and end up with one of them proposing to the other.  At the end of the show there will be a wedding, but for only one of our six couples.  Who will it be?  That’s up to the audience to decide in a vote at intermission.

This will be easier than the “Murder” shows with only some minor changes to one scene at the end to reveal the why the other couples don’t get married and who is making it to the altar, however everyone does have to learn a duet that the marrying couple will sing.

In order to write the script and choose the music, I need to know who is interested in doing the show so please fill out the form at the bottom of the page.

  • Just because you’ve been in a Mistletoe show before, doesn’t mean you are automatically in this one or will necessarily be playing the same character at you did before.
  • If you’ve been in a Mistletoe show before, you can indicate your preference to play the same character you have played before and/or a new character, but neither are guaranteed.
  • If you’ve never  been in a Mistletoe show, that’s okay – we will have new characters this year.

IMPORTANT…

We’re going to move forward with the planning of this show even though we aren’t 100% sure that we’ll have a place to do it.  Club One should be open in time to do this show, but there are a lot of moving parts involved with that.  Even if the club is open, we may have some restrictions in terms of when we can do the shows, when and where we’ll be able to do rehearsals, and so on.

At this time, we are planning to start 1:1/2 rehearsals just before Thanksgiving and then do four shows:

  • Thursday, December 17 at 7pm
  • Friday, December 18 at 7pm
  • Saturday, December 19 at 3pm
  • Sunday, December 20 at 3pm

SAVANNAH CABARET GUIDING PRINCIPLES

  • We will always strive to create a positive, friendly, supportive, and fun environment.
    • We are not getting rich, going to Broadway, or winning any awards for these shows so if we can’t have fun, why are we doing it?
  • We adhere to a strict “no assholes” policy.
    • The only drama we want is the one we’re putting on the stage.
  • We will always be on time for rehearsal, meetings, and shows.
    • Being late is not only detrimental to the production, it’s inconsiderate of your fellow cast members and crew who did what they needed to do to be on time.
  • We will always come prepared.
    • The small amount of time we have to rehearse together must be supplemented by your own work on your own time working on your lines, lyrics, songs, and characters.
  • We will pitch in to help wherever it is needed.
    • Everyone does everything including promoting the show since the more butts in seats, the more most cast and crew gets paid.
